If you answered YES to all of the above, Natural High wants you to enter our 2012 contest!
Show us how you get a Natural High and stay drug free for a chance to win the Grand Prize of $450 towards furthering your Natural High and a GO-PRO Camera.
Who Can Enter?
Anyone between the ages of 10 and 18 who is passionate about living Naturally High. Minors under 13 years old must have parental consent.
What Can I Submit?
Video
Content: The video should include the following: 1) identification of the contestant’s Natural High; 2) how the contestant’s Natural High makes them feel; 3) how the contestant discovered their Natural High; 4) what the contestant’s peer influences are or have been; 5) any values or role models related to the contestant’s Natural High; 6) how using drugs and alcohol would keep the contestant from pursuing their Natural High to the fullest; and 7) a Pledge to live Naturally High.
Length/Time: The video should span 1-3 minutes in length.
Format: Videos will be accepted in in mov, mp3, mp4, avi, mpg, or wmv format.
URL: All video submissions are required to have a URL.
Poster Art
Content: The poster art should be accompanied with an introduction. The introduction should include the following: 1) identification of the contestant’s Natural High; 2) how the contestant’s Natural High makes them feel; 3) how the contestant discovered their Natural High; 4) what the contestant’s peer influences are or have been; 5) any values or role models related to the contestant’s Natural High; 6) how using drugs and alcohol would keep the contestant from pursuing their Natural High to the fullest; and 7) a Pledge to live Naturally High.
Size: Minimum size of 8 ½” x 11” and maximum size of 18” x 24”.
Medium / Format: Any art medium (drawing, painting, photo collage, combination of more than one, etc.). If contestant is emailing a picture of the art, the submission should be in jpg or pdf format.
Submit: 1) Actual poster art or photo of poster art, and 2) introduction of poster art.
Writing
Content: The contestant original writing piece should include the following: 1) identification of the contestant’s Natural High; 2) how the contestant’s Natural High makes them feel; 3) how the contestant discovered their Natural High; 4) what the contestant’s peer influences are or have been; 5) any values or role models related to the contestant’s Natural High; 6) how using drugs and alcohol would keep the contestant from pursuing their Natural High to the fullest; and 7) a Pledge to live Naturally High.
Size: 500-800 words.
Format: doc, docx, or pdf file type if emailing; typed or clearly printed document if mailing hard copy.
How Do I Enter?
- Read the Official Rules.
- Review “What Can I Submit?” above.
- Fill out one of the following Entry Forms for the category you wish to enter.
- Entrants under the age of 13 at time of submission will need a parent or guardian to sign their form and consent to follow all the rules of the contest.
- Combine the completed Entry Form with your final contest entry piece in the format outlined above to:

Deadlines
- Thursday, May 31, 11:59 p.m. – Deadline to submit an entry into the contest.
- Wednesday, June 13 – Six winners will be notified.
- Thursday, June 14 – The submissions of the six winners will be peer judged for the overall Grand Prize winner.
- Thursday, June 28 – The judging closes.
- Friday, June 29 - Grand Prize winner is notified.
