Every year, the National Institute on Drug Abuse for Teens (NIDA) hosts National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week® (NDAFW) in order to raise awareness about teen drug and alcohol abuse and to connect teens with experts who SHATTER THE MYTHS® about drugs and alcohol.
This year, NDAFW will be held Monday, March 30 – Sunday, April 5.
It’s shaping up to be their biggest year ever, with more than 2,000 local events scheduled over the course of the week.
Natural High is thrilled to be lending our support. Natural High members will be participating in events during NDAFW, and we have created a special playlist of free video content and activities for you to download and share with your kids and students.
We’ve curated 6 storyteller videos from our library of celebrity influencers, and 7 student activities to help your students build a strong foundation for prevention.
This compelling content features our newest storyteller, Matt Bellace, who addresses the growing issue of vaping. Our playlist content can be shared and discussed every day of fact week, and kids can participate in fun activities including NIDA’s IQ challenge.
Our program is evidence-based and makes use of current, scientific findings on youth behavior, brain development, social norming, and substance abuse prevention. And, it’s always free!
